
Two ‘General Hospital’ Crew Members Sue ABC Citing Vaccine Mandate and Religious Discimination
Two previous “General Hospital” crew members, Jim Wahl and Timothy Wahl, are suing ABC for wrongful termination just after being fired for not obtaining vaccinated against COVID-19. In the match, obtained by Range, they declare that “ABC’s steps represent religious discrimination and violate Plaintiffs’ rights beneath condition legislation.”
“On Nov. 9, 2021, ABC officially denied Plaintiffs’ requests for religious exemptions to the Covid Vaccine Mandate,” the accommodate reads. “It gave no purpose for its selection, other than to say that the firm was ‘unable to conclude that you are prevented from receiving the Covid-19 vaccine owing to a sincerely-held spiritual perception, practice, or observance.’”

The suit ongoing: “Plaintiffs want a judicial declaration that ABC’s vaccine mandate is unconstitutional because it violates their proper to privacy less than Post I, area 1 of the California Constitution. This is each a facial and an as-applied challenge.”
ABC and Disney declined to comment on the fit.
This is not the very first fit to appear from “General Hospital” personnel about the vaccine mandate. In December 2021, cast member Ingo Rademacher also sued soon after owning religious exemptions denied by the community. Rademacher played Jasper “Jax” Jacks on the present for almost 25 several years.
“I am entitled to a religious exemption from obligatory vaccination for COVID-19 on the basis of my deeply and sincerely held moral belief that my system is endowed by my creator with organic processes to defend me and that its natural integrity simply cannot ethically be violated by the administration of artificially established copies of genetic material, foreign to character and experimental,” he wrote in an Oct. 11 electronic mail to Disney’s HR office.
